RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise BI solutions, including data warehouses, ETL pipelines, and reports.
- Analyze user requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions that meet business needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and develop reporting strategies.
- Develop and maintain complex data models, ensuring data integrity and efficiency.
- Utilize BI tools such as Hyperion, OBIEE, and Tableau to create interactive dashboards and visualizations.
- Troubleshoot and optimize BI systems to ensure performance and reliability.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging BI technologies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of BI processes and methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, etc.)
- 3-5 years of experience in a Business Intelligence or Data Warehousing role
- Strong understanding of data warehousing principles, dimensional modeling, and ETL processes.
- Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation techniques.
- Experience with BI reporting tools such as Hyperion, OBIEE, and Tableau.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint.
- Experience with data governance and data quality management.
- Knowledge of cloud-based BI solutions.
- Experience in the government or public sector.
