Savan is looking for a Records Analyst to assist a federal client in the department-wide modernization of their federal records program. This consultant will be supporting a project team that is tasked with updating records schedules, assessing agency-wide records management processes, and implementing electronic records management solutions. The Records Analyst will support stakeholder coordination, meeting facilitation, project reporting, and other records management activities

Role Responsibilities:
- Serving as a trusted records advisor to help the client and records stakeholders navigate the daily challenges of a records management program
- Supporting the transformation of departmental records management processes and addressing key challenges posed by the transition to an electronic records environment
- Supporting file organization, tagging, and automated disposition of agency electronic records
- Assessing RIM programs to define current-state and recommend program enhancements
- Demonstrating proficiency in the full records management lifecycle, leveraging different RIM tools/systems and ensuring RIM functionality, applying and advising on records disposition schedules, and email management
- Developing training and communication materials in support of records management program objectives
- Facilitate client meetings and record key decisions and actions
- Develop program status reports
- 3+ years’ experience in RIM or archives management
- Knowledge of current federal records management authorities, mandates, and practices
- Ability to critically apply subject matter expertise to complicated agency challenges
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of personnel
- Experience developing, delivering, and managing records inventories, records control schedules, file plans, and disposition procedures
- Understanding of how to manage and organize records within SharePoint
- Understanding of federal records retention and disposition requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint) and Microsoft SharePoint for document management and collaboration
- Bachelor’s degree
- US citizenship
- Experience in the Federal Government or as a federal consultant
- Familiarity with configuring and managing disposition policies using records management applications
