Savan is seeking a Records Information Manager to provide technical and supervisory support for a federal agency’s records management program. This position supports the federal agency records team and may supervise other records staff. The role includes oversight of docket management and records center operations, and the use of automated information systems such as the Federal Docket Management System (FDMS). The Records Information Manager assists in planning and developing strategies to address ongoing records management needs.

Role Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for records management programs, records centers, dockets, and other information services.
- Assist with analysis of records management issues and help develop strategic solutions.
- Support metadata input and review tasks.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries related to records management.
- Support the use and maintenance of automated information systems, including FDMS.
- Maintain and support office, equipment, and staffing related to records functions.
- Assist with records collection,, maintenance, and retrieval.
- Support the development and implementation of standard operating procedures and policy updates.
- Conduct site inspections and provide compliance reports.
- Help complete NARA reporting requirements.
- Develop and deliver training on records management practices.
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
- Seven (7) years of records management experience.
- Experience with at least one automated information system (e.g., FDMS).
- Experience supervising small teams.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Certified Records Manager (CRM) certification.
- Familiar with EPA Records Management
- M365 certification.
- Familiarity with NARA regulations, standards, and guidance.
